Utilising any domain (hosted with Fasthosts or not), the service can be setup to have a single mailbox through to a collaboration service with shared contacts and calendars, ideal for businesses. Microsoft Exchange also includes free Outlook software and Outlook Web Access to help users get the most from the service, whether they are at their desk or away from it.
A choice of mobile compatibility options is also available, utilising Microsoft’s Exchange Direct Push service to sync up with popular devices such as iPhones, or Good Mobile Messaging which installs an app on phones to allow push email synchronisation. By having push email enabled, mobile devices can be set to receive and sound alerts every time an email is received, ensuring that important or business-critical communications aren’t missed.
